March - Inspiration

Spring is sprung. Bursting from the ground in shoots of green tender daffodil buds and blades of tentative grass reaching for the sun’s warming embrace. We burst too from our cocoons of winter layers - and find ourselves unsure about what awaits us. The world is brighter, but still as apt to sting us with icing rain and bitter winds as it is to invite us to carelessly leave our sweaters and scarves behind.

Now is the time to take those steps forward into the sun, patiently waiting to warm us once more. It is indifferent to our doubts, our hesitations, it will still be there as we clear a path through our doubts and through the material barriers we’ve wrapped around ourselves. Shedding worn and tattered belongings, sharing out what no longer fits us but still can serve others among those in need, making room for the new life springing forward from the earth and our lives ahead.
