Collection: Three Rivers

The Three Rivers series is a photography essay of Matteo’s life, of sights seen while driving around and running through the streets and surrounding area of his home town Three Rivers, Michigan. The negatives were created dating back to 1989 and continue to the present.

This is a story told through images of historic locations, structures now gone, personally significant landmarks and visually interesting scenes that caught his eye. Everything from the cameras and film used to the paper, mat board and frame were carefully chosen and designed to communicate a memorably nostalgic feeling; a remembrance of things past.
