"Phoenix" Hand-Knit Blanket was created with 20 skeins of Dark Horse Bouclé soft and cozy Super Bulky yarn. Dark Horse did not name their colorways, the one used for this blanket is #18. It evokes the legend of the Phoenix, dying in a burst of Red and White flames and rising from the Black ash. Such a fitting title for this blanket as Matteo unraveled the original one when it was about half completed to re-knit in a larger size. At 5 feet wide and over 6 feet long, it is large enough to wrap up in, share with a loved one or add extra soft warmth to a bed. Read about it's journey in the Creative Projects blog section.
